Four medals and a world record: this is the outcome of the Fiocchi Team athletes at the forth and last stage of the ISSF World Cup 2019, celebrated in Lahti (FIN) from 13 to 23 August.

In the Trap competition, the Italian shooter Mauro De Filippis conquered the bronze medal at the end of a very hard-fought final, proving himself again to be at the top of the world shotgun.

Two medals were conquered in the Trap Mixed Team, the new Olympic discipline of Tokyo 2020: one by Alessandra Perilli from San Marino, who won the gold medal, and one by Italian Giovanni Pellielo (bronze medal).

Skeet was a real triumph for Fiocchi team, thanks to the Italian athlete Luigi Lodde and his amazing performance. The shooter from Sardinia, one of the main experts of the Fiocchi team, was the hero of the day: he first broke the world record by crumbling all the 125 qualifying targets, then he won the final conquering the gold medal.

Italy will be soon in the international spotlight: Lonato del Garda will host the European Shooting Championships from 3 to 17 September, when 8 Olympic quota will be awarded, valid for the participation in Tokyo 2020.
