Excellent results at the European championship: 17 medals conquered

A European championship in the sign of Fiocchi Munizioni: this was the verdict of the European Championship Shotgun, celebrated in Lonato del Garda from September 3 to 17 2019.

As many as 17 medals were conquered by the athletes of the Fiocchi Team: an absolute record, which confirms the company from Lecco at the highest levels of this sport.

The first medals arrived from Women Trap, where Italian athlete Jessica Rossi won the silver medal, while Alessandra Perilli (from the Republic of San Marino) conquered the bronze medal and an olympic quota place to Tokyo 2020. As for the junior category, Sofia Littamè won the silver medal and confirmed herself as one of the most brilliant and promising young shooters.

As for the Men Trap, Aaron Heading from Great Britain won the silver medal and an olympic quota place, while the Italian athlete Mauro De Filippis conquered the bronze medal. Among junior athletes, the silver medal was conquered by another young talent of the olympic trap: Lorenzo Ferrari from Italy.

Mauro De FIlippis, Giovanni Pellielo and Valerio Grazini made a special gift to Italy, the gold medal in the men's team competition: a 100% Fiocchi Munizioni medal. Bronze medal for Abbey Ling from Great Britain in the women’s team competition.

Two medals came also from the Trap Mixed Team, the new discipline of Tokyo 2020: Jessica Rossi and Mauro De Filippis won the bronze medal, junior athletes Sofia Littamè and Lorenzo Ferrari conquered the gold medal.

Fiocchi athletes were the stars also of Double Trap competitions: a real jackpot for men, thanks to Daniele Di Spigno (gold), Ignazio Maria Tronca (silver), Andrea Vescovi (bronze). As for women, Claudia De Luca won the gold medal, Sofia Maglio the silver medal. A gold medal was conquered also in the junior category: Jacopo Duprè De Foresta rose to the top step of the podium in Lonato del Garda.

The last medal for Fiocchi Munizioni was conquered by Tammaro Cassandro from Italy, with a silver medal in skeet at the end of an extraordinary performance.
